Duties & Responsibilities
The Code Enforcement Department is to protect, preserve, upgrade, and regulate the environmental quality of the City of Liberal. This is accomplished through enforcement of regulations including the International Property Maintenance Code (adopted edition). Regulations prohibit conditions which are injurious to the health, safety, welfare, or aesthetic characteristics of the neighborhoods within the City of Liberal.
